Board Meeting Recap – September 24, 2024

The Miracle Workers Alliance (MWA) held its regular Board of Directors meeting on September 24, 2024, via the Discord eBoard Room. The meeting was called to order by President Korey G. Miracle at 6:00 p.m. EST, with a quorum present.

Board Attendance and Key Decisions

The following board members were in attendance:

  • Korey G. Miracle (Founder/President/CEO)
  • Faith D. Adams (Director/Treasurer)
  • Subreina Davis (Director/CDO)
  • Jordan Anderson (Director)
  • Samantha Boyce (Director)
  • Hailey Medina (Director)
  • Beatrix Lee (Secretary)

Additionally, the Official Stream Team Leader, TGWB40, was present as a guest. Along with Chris171998, a helper for our Gamers for Wellness FiveM RP server program.

Absent was:

  • Beatrix Lee (Secretary)

Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes

The following minutes were reviewed and approved unanimously:

  • September 15, 2024, Meeting: Motioned by Hailey Medina, seconded by Jordan Anderson.
  • September 19, 2024, Special Meeting: Motioned by Jordan Anderson, seconded by Hailey Medina.

The Board also acknowledged the cancellation of the October 2024 meeting due to the President’s illness. A Notice of Non-Meeting has been formally filed.

Agenda Approval

The meeting agenda was motioned for approval as presented by Hailey Medina, seconded by Jordan Anderson, and approved unanimously.

Reports

Executive Report

President Korey G. Miracle presented updates on various initiatives:

  • A presentation was provided.

  • Gamers for Wellness Program:

    Introduced as a new initiative utilizing Facebook, Discord, and game servers to engage and grow the community.

  • GTA/5M Projects: Ongoing exploration for collaborations and technical development.
  • Fundraising Opportunities: Emphasis on the need for proactive fundraising efforts.

Old Business

Item 1: Board Vacancy

  • Presenter: Korey Miracle
    • Discussion: It was discussed that TGWB40 could fill the vacancy. It will be tabled until the next meeting. The motion was dealt by Hailey Medina and seconded by Subreina Davis.
    • Motion: Tabled by Hailey Medina, seconded by Subreina Davis.
    • Vote: Voted unanimously.

New Business

Item 1: Secret Santa 2024

  • Presenter: Korey Miracle
    • Discussion: Several board members expressed interest in participating. An announcement will be posted on Discord to gauge further interest.

Open Forum

  • Presenter: Chris (chris171998)

    • Discussion: Collaborative ideas and plans for the FiveM project were shared and explored.

Next Meeting

The next regular meeting of the Board of Directors is scheduled for December 15, 2024, at 6:00 PM EST, via MWA Discord: eBoard Room.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:23 PM EST following a motion by Samantha Boyce, seconded by Jordan Anderson, and approved unanimously.
