Board Meeting Recap – June 30, 2024
The Miracle Workers Alliance (MWA) held a productive Board of Directors meeting on June 30, 2024, via Discord’s eBoard Room. President Korey G. Miracle called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. EST, with active participation from board members and guests as the organization progresses in its mission.
Board Attendance and Key Decisions
The meeting confirmed a quorum with board members Korey G. Miracle (Founder/President/CEO), Faith D. Adams (Director/Treasurer), Subreina Davis (Director/CDO), Jordan Anderson (Director), Samantha Boyce (Director), and Beatrix Lee (Secretary) in attendance. Director Hailey Medina had been excused from the meeting. Guests included WeaselTheDiesel, RoseyNeko, Chris171998, and Yasini 256, who contributed valuable insights to the discussions.
Minutes and Agenda Approvals
The board reviewed and unanimously approved the minutes from the May 26, 2024 meeting. The minutes from the June 2, 2024 special meeting and the June 8, 2024 special meeting were also unanimously approved. The agenda for the June 30 meeting was approved without objections.

Executive Report
President Korey G. Miracle provided an update on the nonprofit’s fundraising progress:

Game Giveaway: A successful game giveaway event, organized with contributions from Subreina Davis, attracted 72 participants, with 2 successful applicants.

Discord Developments: The Confessions bot has been integrated into the Discord server, accompanied by a partnership that includes promotion. The Discord Staff Handbook remains in development.

Event Manager Role: A new Event Manager has been appointed, bringing substantial new interest to the organization.

Newsletter and Twitch: Efforts to enhance newsletters and engage audiences through Twitch events are ongoing. The focus is on expanding the committee and refining organizational strategies.

Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer Faith D. Adams reported the acquisition of $600 needed for filing the 501(c)(3) application. Contributions came from Subreina Davis, Sinsnight, Wendy Gave, Shadow, HaileyBailey, Beatrix Lee, Jennifer Lee, and Nicole Spencer. The final budget is being prepared to complete the filing process.
Social Media Update
Social Media Manager Samantha Boyce shared encouraging analytics:

New Posting Schedule: The updated schedule has led to significant growth on Instagram and Facebook, with Facebook nearing 100 followers and Instagram showing positive engagement.

New Schedule: TikTok posts will be on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with Facebook and Instagram on Tuesday and Thursday. Plans include featuring more content from the President and collaborations with Kaotic.

TikTok Performance: Achieved 7.7k views with high engagement on memes, gifs, and slides. The best post garnered 167 likes and just under 2k views.
New Business
Item 1: Revised P&P Manual
Presenter: Korey G. Miracle
- Discussion: Focused on correcting verbiage, updating Discord policies, and operational hours.
- Motion: Subreina Davis moved to approve the revisions. The motion was seconded by Samantha Boyce.
- Vote: 4 in favor, 0 against, 1 abstention
- Outcome: The motion was APPROVED.
Item 2: Revised Corporate Bylaws
Presenter: Korey G. Miracle
- Discussion: Focused on correcting verbiage and adjusting the frequency of board meetings.
- Motion: Samantha Boyce moved to approve the revisions. The motion was seconded by Subreina Davis.
- Vote: 4 in favor, 0 against, 1 abstention
- Outcome: The motion was APPROVED.
Open Forum
The open forum featured introductions and discussions:
- Subreina Davis: Proposed more movie nights, passive events, and a mystery box giveaway. Discussed potential future partnerships and a physical meetup with dinner.
- Chris171998: Suggested exploring a Grand Theft Auto FiveM server, which led to a motion for further research. The motion was seconded and approved by 3 votes in favor and 1 against. Concerns from the opposed were based on resource allocation.
